Before I saw the light and found games I was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Virgin USA where I worked on starting new businesses for Virgin and partied with Richard Branson.
I am also active in advising and investing in start-ups as well, some of whom are listed on the right.
Previously I was:
1. BMG Direct (Bertelsmann): Vice President of Corporate Development
2. Speedle (Web authentication start up): President
3. TicketWeb (first online ticketing co, sold to IAC): President and COO
4. Cities In Schools (early charter schools non profit): Executive Director
5. Teach For America (teaching non profit): VP many roles and eventually: President
Those were the big ones. I was involved in the start up of Teach For America in the early days, eventually becoming president. The a left turn from education to two technology start ups, one sold for $40mm, then working for big media companies.
