TicketWeb (Berkeley, CA) 2/99 – 2/01

TicketWeb sold the first event tickets online and built the first and leading browser based ticketing system
- Sold the company for $35.2 million to CitySearch,(NASDAQ: TMCS) led and oversaw process
- Grew company from 11 employees to 70 and raised $10 million in financing
- Managed all the departments and operating units of the company and personally hired all employees
- Led integration with new parent company and other operating units

The Courtney Group managed a $150 million investment fund and led M&A transactions
- Raised in excess of $100 million in private equity and debt for clients
- Engaged on transactions in telecom, education, technology, asset management, and health care

- Managed relationships with investment banks, City agencies, non-profits and board of education
- Led staff of 35 and board of directors
- Took over when the organization was in trouble – lack of mission and large debt. Erased debt, transitioned staff, moved organization forward
Teach For America (New York, NY) 8/90 – 8/94

Teach For America started the leading national teacher recruitment, training and placement corps to serve under resourced urban and rural public schools
Managed staff of 60, 17 regional offices and 2,000 people in the program
Oversaw all departments including recruiting, development, training.
Interfaced with everyone from school principals to state officials to President Clinton
